We are people just like you — neighbours, friends, and families learning to follow Jesus together, and believing that his kingdom is breaking into Henderson everyday.
Henderson Baptist began more than 75 years ago with a small group of people who believed God was at work in Henderson, and their legacy of faith continues to this day.

Who we are
We love the prayer Jesus taught his friends, and we believe it is immensely true for our neighbourhood: Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, in Henderson as it is in heaven.
We're a local church in Henderson, gathered to encourage one another and scattered to live as followers of Jesus in the everyday.
We're not a polished or slick operation — and we're okay with that. We'd rather be honest about life, faith, pain, and disappointment than project something we're not. We'd rather slow down to hear your story than rush through an agenda.
We're an intergenerational community, people from all walks of life, and we believe that diversity makes us richer. We create space to listen — to each other's joys, concerns, and questions — because in our experience, that's often where God shows up.
We care especially about those the wider community can overlook: people on the margins of school, of work, of Henderson itself. Following Jesus, for us, means turning toward those people rather than away from them.
We're a community still becoming. We believe the Holy Spirit keeps calling us forward, and we want to be courageous enough to follow — even when that means changing, letting go, and trying something new.
